This was the absolute WORST food experience ever!!! Bellagio's was our takeout restaurant of choice for an office meeting consisting of 8 people. Our order was called in at 11:15am with the desire to have it delivered for 12:30pm. The person on the phone said they would have it to us by that time. No problem......right? Wrong! After a phone call to them inquiring about our food at 12:50 they said it would be to us in about 15-20 minutes. Then a call from Bellagio's at about 12:55 to say they didn't have something that we had ordered, so we knew they were just now making our food. That is 1hr 40min after we ordered and 25min after it should already have been delivered. We were all hungry and becoming very upset and disappointed! Our meeting is over and lunch break is done at 2:00. We finally got our lunch 2 hours/ 35 minutes after we ordered it and 1 hour/20 minutes after desired delivery time at 1:50pm! Unacceptable!!! The only explanation we got was that they were short staffed. It was explained to them that if they had simply expressed that to us on the phone and told us how long it might be until we had our order then we could have made a decision on to order from someone else or not and then we might have used them in the future but now they have lost our business completely! And there is more! The food was horrible!!! One order was for a steak, cheese w/mushrooms. There were no mushrooms, cheese was not melted and the amount of steak was for a small sandwich not a large sub. Another large steak and cheese was ordered but with onions. This again had hardly any meat, onions were purple raw like on a salad and the cheese was burnt black. Then 4 calzones were among the order. One had uncooked dough and cheese not even melted. Two were mostly thrown away because they tasted so bad and the other was stuck to the bottom of the box and all mush and the whole thing was thrown out! This is one restaurant that is going downhill fast!!
