• THE WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE!!!!
• Dr Marina Becker gave me novicaine by aimlessly injecting 4 quick shots--before allowing the topical to take effect! OUCH!! Dr Becker OF Queen City Dental performed a 20 minute root canal on me-- upon waiting for the bill, I told her, still numb, that I felt pain--She ignored me stating "You will be OK"-- It was not OK! I was in pain, my lip swelled the next day and I had to have antibiotics--Being a Saturday, she phoned in the script and instructed me to take a sharp object and puncture the temporary filling!!! I have since found a qualified, compassionate, caring dentist to finish my root canal--Dr Becker had already billed my insurance for the complete root canal--I had filed a grievance with my dental insurance and forwarded copies to the proper offices--Anyone else a victim of negligence--I encourage you to write a letter of grievance to the Board of Dentists and send a copy to the BBB in an effort to prevent someone else from going through the same neglect--Be sure to send a copy to your dental insurance as well--They will be investigated--I am a nurse, I take care of post op patients--If a patient tells me they are experiencing pain from a procedure they had, I investigate the type of pain--It may be caused by the procedure (sore, achey) or, following a complete assessment, it might be the start of an infection--There are many factors that would determine the origin of the pain--Either way, pain should be carefully evaluated and treated-Otherwise it would be neglect (dmk1966@comcast.net, 11/10/2008)
